Problems with the Board?

I'm sure that most of you are quite frustrated at not being able to post and in most cases, even view the forums. Trust me when I say that you are not the only one.
First and foremost, I'd like to explain the outage that we had earlier today. Apparently, this morning, there was an earthquake in California which knocked out MyDomain.com and busted up our DNS hosting connection. In all honesty, I don't understand all of the mumbo jumbo behind it, but from what I am told, it's being repaired, which is the why the site is at least viewable.
About a week ago, the company that hosts our server, Rackshack, realized that we had more RAM than we were supposed to and decided to downgrade us. With half of our memory capacity and the increased traffic as of late, it has caused some SERIOUS slowdown issues to the point where it has taken close to almost 5 minutes just to get anywhere on the board.
This is just as frustrating for the administration as it is for the users as we aren't able to maneuver around to try and keep things under control as we'd like to.
Unfortunately, this isn't something that can be remedied as quickly as I'd like. Truth be told, to upgrade to our forums' older speed would cost half as much as I pay for the entire server at this moment and it would be a poor investment to make. With that being said, steps are being taken to purchase a NEW, Improved server which will allow for more traffic, a larger memory capacity and a problem free environment. This should happen sometime in the near future.
The only thing I can ask is that you all bear with me as this is a transitional period and there will be bumps in the road. In the meantime, please continue to visit The Smart Marks.com, which is rapidly becoming one of the best sites for wrestling reviews.
Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and you'll all be informed of any significant changes on the main page.
TSM Owner,
Damian Gonzalez
